The packaging is a new opportunity for print entrepreneurs. The packaging remains a lucrative area and assumes more importance for many reasons – the increasing consumerism, thriving food & beverages sectors, increasing trends to launch new SKUs, growing rural consumption, above all post-COVID scenario gave impetus to many segments, especially the health and hygiene products.

The forecast is that demand for various types of packaging like rigid packaging, flexibles, labels, food-grade packaging, sustainable packaging, anti-counterfeit and smart packaging is increasing exponentially in the backdrop of rising disposable income and higher spending power of young consumers in India. The brands are also trying to bring in a lot of innovative product line up with much more product varieties to choose from.
